First off, welcome to anyone that came to the website via the article about us in Sunday’s Union-Tribune. To the right you can find links to a lot of information about the movie and the people behind it. If you still have questions, don’t hesitate to email us, we’re happy to hear from anyone interested in our movie.
If you’d read about us and want to see the movie, you’re in luck. The Chinese American Film Festival introduced a San Diego charity screening series this year and asked us to be part of it. The screenings will be hosted by Jasmine Seafood Restaurant in Kearny Mesa , beginning on November 14th and continuing until November 28th. The High Tower will play Sunday, November 23rd at 7pm. There is a cost of $3, with all proceeds going to the ACCEF’s efforts to rebuild schools in Sichuan province that were destroyed during the devastating earthquakes earlier this year. For more information and to RSVP, go to the Jasmine website
The High Tower was accepted into this year’s Chinese American Film Festival in Hollywood and held its world premiere screening as part of the festival. We attended the opening ceremonies at the Director’s Guild of America on November 3rd and the screening was held on November 15th. We’ve been receiving photos from the events and will post them here as they become available.
We’ve already been getting some great press coverage, including radio, TV and print. Check out our Media Coveragepage to see and hear where we’ve been.
